Avril Lavigne Introduces Her Clothing Line: Abbey Dawn

Avril Lavigne is one of the latest Celebs to introduce her own clothing line. Known for her pop-punk style her line of clothing all looks like items she would wear. The price points for her line range from $16-$40 and is only available through Kohl’s. Most items are either Hot Pink or Black (or both) and feature skulls, polka dots, and graphic text.
They are great back to school items, and would be perfect for roaming the streets of NYC. I will be shopping her line, pink and black just happens to be my favorite color combination, and I like the funky and casual style of the line. I love the star skinny jeans & bootcut flares, but my favorite is the hot pink Rock N’ Roll cardigan. My three favorite items from her line are below. To see the entire line, click here.

I am a size 14-15, so until she comes out with a line for girls who aren’t anorexic looking I can’t see myself buying her clothes. This is exactly my style which is why it makes me so angry that Avril only wishes to sell her clothing line to skinny girls. There are plenty of us plus size girls who like this style too, so I have to wonder if she did this on purpose or not.
My daughter would like to have a pair of the boot-cut jeans with the skulls on it. She needs a size 1 and the local Kohl’s or the web site doesn’t have it. Can you help?

If those aren’t the exact pair you are looking for, my suggestion is to keep watching ebay, as you may see some surfacing there. Abbey Dawn is no longer producing any more, so whatever is left is left.

This is so unfair! Ive been a fan of Avrils scinse i was 11 years old. I idolized her style and uniqueness for years. I love skulls… my whole house is full of them, and it really upsets me that you cant find anything that will fit a normal size girl thats a M-L.. Why did she make it so these clothes will only fit little.. bulemic girls? Does she think that everyone is supposed to be like her?.. Come on now… ALL over her songs are about being yourself and always loving you for who you are, but yet, her clothes only fit scary skinny girls. Her friggen perfume motto is “Be your own star.” For goodness sake? Literally, the only item i can buy of hers is the accessorys. Shes gonna miss out on alot of money seeing as most of her fans are the ones who have been by her side for her whole carrer.
So come on Avril.. maybe come out with a line for girls like us, with curves like real women.
